Custom Hutch and another Hall Tree

I love to make one of a kind furniture by combining several pieces into one new useful item.  Here is my latest hutch.

AFTER...hutch

AFTER...hutch with magnetic front piece that is removable.

My favorite part...ANTIQUE hardware!

This hall tree is made from an old door and an end table.  The top is adorned with scroll work that is used on the sides of the treads of steps on a staircase.  The arms are antique spindles and stairway handrail. The bottom shelf is a cabinet door and the round feet are part of an antique couch.  A nice addition to anyone's home.

Small projects

It's been a crazy few months focusing on selling our home, therefore my creative time was limited.  I am finally to the point in which I have found a balance and have made sure that I am taking a couple of days a week to work on new projects.  I still hate to write, so the following are some of my latest transformations.  May you find inspiration:)

BEFORE...baby cradle

AFTER...baby cradle coffee table:)  Love this!  But with 3 large dogs it's useless to have a coffee table:(
